One of the missions of the Water Patrol is to regulate the use of the lakes and rivers of the county to assure that the public is not endangered.
The Water Patrol requires permits for some activities, including temporary structures and special events. Rental boat operators must fill out an application and submit their boats for inspection. Charter Boats must also be inspected before they can carry passengers.
The forms and instruction sheets require Adobe Acrobat Reader to to view. You may also fill the forms out online and print or email them. (Note: Forms that require a signature may not be emailed.)
Adobe Acrobat is installed on most computers, but if it is not, you can download it free from the Adobe Web Site. Click here to download.
You can fill out the forms on-line, but you must print them out and sign them for the forms to be valid.
