2/9/2012	3/15/2012	All Hennepin County Lakes	Hennepin County Lakes Closed to Cars, Trucks and SUV's	After unseasonable conditions, and after several cars and trucks have gone through the ice on county lakes, the Water Patrol has closed all accesses and is prohibiting cars, trucks and SUV's from entering lakes. This ban does not apply to snowmobiles or ATV's, but extra caution is necessary. Ice conditions can change dramatically in several feet; 15 inches of ice in one area may be reduced to one or two inches 100 feet away. This ban is effective immediately and will most likely be in effect through this winter season.
