LMCD Rules and Ordinances
Lake Minnetonka is recognized as the most heavily used lake in Minnesota, and is located in parts of 14 different communities. Because of the heavy use and the conflicting jurisdictions, the Minnesota State Legislature created the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) to provide a consistent set of rules and enforcement.
